whatta liar

I REALLY should change my blog-title's name. and url. it's so ... punny. instead of daily, it's more of like "once a month" kinda deal. or is it "once every three months"?

this is an exercise in "takes," where a character changes emotion. i have no idea why, but all the examples i've seen always has emotion that involves surprise...

The article was about diabetes and the university student, but all I could picture were people in their middle/old age sticking needles of insulin into their bodies and poking their fingers for glucose tests. The majority of people in my mom's family is diabetic, my dad is diabetic, my maternal grandparents are diabetic... so I know fairly well what diabetes is about. None of it is fun...

paint tool sai draw #1

I downloaded the trial version of paint tool sai (a translated english version) and after one night fighting with it a couple nights ago, I finally figured it out and got comfy with it. Paint Tool Sai has a "watercolor tool," which I love, and is also featured in oekaki applets like "shi painter."I haven't a clue if a similar tool/effect is available in photoshop, and I'm kind of desperate for it.

I was stressing over my homework for no reason, so I just finished this little hoopty-tooty draw I did a couple days ago to de-stress:
