Pastures of Heaven

 

This is part of a recent project based on John Steinbeck's second book, The Pastures of Heaven. The stories in the book are set in Salinas' Corral de Tierra. IT IS SO BEAUTIFUL THERE ohmygosh
(I got to talk to a local and took lots of pictures).

It occurred to me while taking photos for an assignment that I should take more pictures just for fun. Haven't done it in a while, and I miss it a lot. (well, excluding my camera phone. I take lots of pictures with my semi-smartphone ... but I'm just too lazy to move the files out of it)

sometimes i go into a drawing frenzy and then i draw like crazy. i get some kind of artist' high (like runner's high) and then it disappears, and then it all sucks.

I also own another book by Paul Gallico called The Silent Miaow. This guy really loves cats. A LOT!

Also some stuff from my last project: Jules Verne's  20,000 Leagues Under the Sea. Captain Nemo, some of his props, and his dive suit. I'm still in the midst of fixing things... REVISIONS FOR DAYS~
