WIP, etc.

sometimes i go into a drawing frenzy and then i draw like crazy. i get some kind of artist' high (like runner's high) and then it disappears, and then it all sucks.

I also own another book by Paul Gallico called The Silent Miaow. This guy really loves cats. A LOT!

Also some stuff from my last project: Jules Verne's  20,000 Leagues Under the Sea. Captain Nemo, some of his props, and his dive suit. I'm still in the midst of fixing things... REVISIONS FOR DAYS~

A WULF IN SHEEP'S CLOTHING

these are some character designs for a Nickelodeon Long Distance Learning Project that my university was very fortunate enough to procure. They're not where I want them to be (yet) but I had tons of fun doing these EXTREEEEME key poses. Tex Avery style expressions are very much advocated (eyes popping out and whatnot). Some of the eyeballs I drew have this Jhonen Vasquez look to them...interesting. (I think Nick should make new seasons of Invader Zim. Just sayin')

(both are WIP, i suppose. definitely not done with the one directly above. definitely not done with anything. also, i can't believe i used to digitally draw/paint with a MOUSE!!! i'm definitely feeling more adept lately painting in photoshop--with my 4x5 tinytinytiny wacom graphire tablet. i'm still struggling with digitally creating linework, though. TINY OMG)
